Mun in Waldeck

Today I was accompanied by family and friends to visit and I can say one thing in advance, it is worth it! At first I was a little disappointed with the small selection of dishes etc., luckily there is still a daily menu. Fortunately for me, there was schnitzel today, which I definitely recommend. The schnitzel, or rather the two, are quite juicy and also soft, the sauce was also great, let alone the potatoes. All in all it's worth it, I hope it stays that way, a small expansion of the menu might be a good way to attract even more customers, but there will definitely be reasons for that.

The MUN is a great modern restaurant with a great atmosphere. The food and drinks on offer are also a bit more modern, but also include the typical fried potatoes with fish. Here you can even choose between 3 different fish (trout, salmon or pikeperch). There were two of us there and paid around 40 € including drinks. It's a great change from the other localities around the Edersee, the more traditional cuisine or burger & co. to offer.

The burger was so plain and dry.

We were looking for a restaurant on the Edersee that was also open on Mondays. The discovery was the MUN. Due to the nice weather full, but unproblematic, a seat was assigned, lake view, even if dr has already withdrawn a bit. Food was delicious and wine also tasted good. We'll go back for sure

Super nice location. It is also very worthwhile to linger there before or after eating. Good service, nice waitress and very good food. The presentation of the restaurant makes a lot and does not look fake. We really liked the concept with the open kitchen

We ate here today on recommendation. The young man in the service was at our table with the menus in less than a minute. We were greeted warmly and served very friendly. Food arrived in less than 15 minutes after ordering, it tasted really great and at an absolutely fair price. The location itself also fits the deserved 5 stars.

After our wedding at Waldeck Castle, we came here to eat. We were there earlier than discussed and got a spontaneous champagne reception. We were greeted in a very friendly manner by the entire team and accompanied to our seats. Despite 34 degrees and 40 guests, the staff was very friendly and relaxed. A buffet was put together for us, with lots of delicious dishes. All guests, including us, were delighted with the delicious and beautifully presented dishes. We are glad we chose this place. We spent our special day in this beautiful ambience. The MUN is a very clean and modern restaurant and we will definitely come here more often

I have to honestly say I am absolutely thrilled with this restaurant. We arrived and immediately a very friendly waitress came and assigned us to our table. We were asked directly for a refreshment, which was also brought to our table a few minutes later. We did not wait 15 minutes for our food to be served, although there was a lot going on. I don't use this word often, but it was a real taste explosion. After a 50 minute stay we went overjoyed and left a tip for the first time due to a first-class service. So thumbs up :)

Food was good, but not super special. Service ok, even if it would be nice if the staff knew the wines on the menu. You sit here nicely near the lake, which ensures the 4th star. It would be nice if it were mentioned on a website (currently not available) or on the menu that card payment is not possible.

Tastes delicious. The hammer. Best restaurateur far and wide. The variety of dishes is just professional. The boss is personable and you immediately notice that there is so much experience behind it. I can recommend it.}

The location itself is really very nice. The food was good too. The cocktails weren't really recommended, but the beautiful view makes up for it. However, it is completely incomprehensible that you will not be able to pay by card here in 2020, that the next ATM is almost 20 minutes away by car and that this is not communicated in advance in any way.

The food was on point - not only tastes delicious but also looks amazing, staff is super friendly. What I found really attractive was the possibility to see the chef doing everything through an open kitchen. Highly recommend everyone to visit and check the menu accompanied by the picturesque view of the lake.

You want to stay here! The food tastes very good, you can tell: they cook with heart and mind. A wonderful fresh young team, warm and professional. Ambience: modern and fresh. This is how vacation goes 😍
